Brad Francis, D.C.
Care built around precision—not excess.
Looking for Dr. Brad Francis? He now practices at Calibrate Chiropractic in Pleasanton.Calibrate Chiropractic was created to offer a place where patients feel listened to—where the analysis is as important as the adjustment, and where the goal is not just temporary relief, but lasting change in how the body functions and adapts. For many current Blair patients, this will feel familiar: the same precise upper cervical foundation they already know, with the added ability to address the full spine when needed.Calibrate is not an adjust-everything-every-time office. The intent is to identify what is actually driving the problem, make the fewest specific corrections necessary, and help your body adapt well over time. Some visits involve adjustments. Some do not. Either way, the goal is the same: do what is necessary, avoid what is not, and help create lasting change.
APPROACH
Each visit is built around a simple process:Assess
How your spine and nervous system are functioningDecide
Whether a correction is actually neededAdjust
Specifically and gently when indicatedRe-check
How your body is respondingWhen I say I calibrate your spine, I’m talking about a process—not just a push. The goal is not more treatment. The goal is better results.
Method
My approach combines two important ways of looking at the spine.Neurological foundation
The upper neck can have a major influence on posture, balance, nervous system function, and how the body organizes itself.Structural foundation
The pelvis and lower spine often act as the base of support for everything above them. Not every patient fits neatly into one system. My job is to determine what is primary, understand how the rest of the body is compensating, and make the fewest corrections necessary to create the biggest impact.Less intervention. More meaningful change.
Many people are used to care that feels good for a short time, but never seems to hold. The focus here is not just how you feel right after a visit. The focus is how well your body maintains progress between visits. That often means fewer overall adjustments, some visits without treatment, more stability over time, and less dependence on frequent care.If you value precision, honesty, and longer-lasting progress, this approach may be a good fit.
PROCESS
New Patient Visit
We begin with a detailed conversation, health history, and examination to understand your goals and determine whether this approach is a good fit.Foundation Analysis
I evaluate the spine with special attention to both neurological and structural foundations. When appropriate, advanced imaging such as upper cervical CBCT may be used for greater precision.Specific Care, When Needed
When an adjustment is needed, it is intentional and specific. Sometimes that means adjusting. Sometimes it means leaving things alone and allowing your body to continue adapting.Follow-Up and Reassessment
Progress is measured by how well your body holds change between visits. Follow-up visits help determine what is needed next—no more, no less.
